Launch the YouTube app on your Smart TV, streaming device, or console. Navigate to Sign in or Link device from the left menu.
After choosing Sign in, your TV will show a short activation code (for example AB12-CD34) and instructions to visit yt.be/activate on a phone or computer.
On your phone or computer open yt.be/activate (or youtube.com/activate), sign in with the Google account you want to link, and enter the code displayed on the TV.
After entering the code, confirm the device name (optional) and allow the link. The TV will automatically refresh and show the signed-in profile.
If the code expires, request a new code on the TV. If sign-in fails, check network connectivity or sign out of conflicting Google accounts in your browser.

Activation codes expire quickly for security. On the TV open Sign in again to get a fresh code and enter it immediately on yt.be/activate.
Restart your TV/router, verify internet access on the TV, and ensure any firewall or DNS filtering isn’t blocking youtube.com.
Sign out from other Google accounts in your browser, or use an incognito/private window to sign in with the correct account before entering the code.
Update the YouTube app on your TV (via the device’s app store) or reinstall it if activation repeatedly fails.
